Summer 2021 Newsletter

We hope you're all ready for a well-earned Summer holiday and we wanted to bring you up to date on a few things at the Lodge.

As you're probably aware, NSW has ceased most COVID restrictions on December 15, but has reinstated indoor mask wearing and QR checkins due to the spike in cases over Christmas.

The recent rise in COVID cases is obviously a cause for some concern, so we will still be encouraging good hygiene and NSW Health recommends wearing masks where social distancing isn't possible. If you are showing cold and flu like symptoms during your stay, we will still ask you to self isolate and get a COVID test due to the communal nature of the Lodge. If you have tested positive to COVID prior to arrival, you will need to self isolate as per Government requirements and we'll be happy to provide a refund if your booking is affected.

We have very healthy bookings over the Christmas and New Year period and plenty of room from January 10 onwards. Summer is in full swing in the mountains, with Thredbo's mountain bike park buzzing, the Valley Track open all the way from Thredbo to Jindabyne and all of the Summer hiking trails ready to explore. With all the recent rain, the mountains are looking amazing, so please submit any booking requests via the website form at https://www.tfsl.com.au/rooms

It's with sadness that we finish with the news that David Harrison of Harro's Snowsports in Lake Crackenback passed away peacefully last night after battling cancer for the past few months. Harro has been a great friend of the Lodge for many years, so please support his family with your business at their shop next Winter.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please email members@tfsl.com.au
